Strawberries dipped in chocolate

🎙 Podcast — Tune in as we talk about this recipe!

🍓 Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries, washed and completely dried
  • 8 oz dark or semi-sweet chocolate, chopped or chips
  • Optional: 4 oz white chocolate for drizzling
  • Optional toppings: crushed nuts, sprinkles, shredded coconut

👨‍🍳 Directions

  1. 1
Wash strawberries and pat completely dry with paper towels. Any moisture will cause the chocolate to seize. Leave stems on for easy dipping.
  2. 2
Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Or melt in a double boiler over simmering water.
  3. 3
Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip about two-thirds of the way into the melted chocolate. Let excess drip off.
  4. 4
Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Add any optional toppings immediately before chocolate sets.
  5. 5
Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes until chocolate is fully set. Serve and enjoy!
💡 Tip: Completely dry strawberries are essential — even a drop of water will cause the chocolate to seize and become grainy!
