We're tired of the dehumanizing corporate sewing and cooking machines that treats people like keywords and number like commodities. Motley Muse exists to bring humanity back to the sewing and cooking processes. We're not anti-tech, but we are anti-keyword and algorithm-driven BS. We're here to drive real connections. Real people connecting with real people and products that don't suck.

Through the free Toy box Pantry we deliver access to play to underserved and historically marginalized communities, provide play relief in times of crisis and uncertainty, and empower the next generation of play makers.

Hi, I'm Yvette Staufert is the owner and operator of this website and business. I graduated with high honors from Penn Foster, specializing in sewing and design, and from Universidad Anáhuac Puebla through the Le Cordon Bleu program, focusing on culinary arts. I also attended Northern Arizona University, where I studied business.

From a young age, I has been deeply involved in both the sewing and culinary industries, traveling extensively to learn from talented professionals around the world. In addition to my creative pursuits, I am passionate about teaching and sharing my skills with others. Every item and piece of content on this website is personally created by me, reflecting my dedication, expertise, and love on my craft.

Passionate about teaching, my classes challenge the status quo, by focusing on creating products that are beautiful, comfortable, and easy to make. With unparalleled customer service built through years of experience, I offer flexible online classes and engaging hands on pop up events.
