There's something about a fresh bolt of fabric. No pins, no chalk marks, no seams I wish I'd sewn differently. That's what God offers us every single morning. Whatever yesterday looked like, the mistakes, the harsh words, the things left undone, He doesn't hand us the old garment and ask us to patch it. He gives us something new. Today I want to stop picking at the old threads and start trusting the Maker who's cutting a new pattern for my life.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for making me new. Help me let go of what's behind me and walk into today with a grateful heart. When I'm tempted to go back to old habits, remind me that I belong to You. Amen.
