Become a Motley Muse Brand Ambassador
Are you interested in clothing, styling, and independent designers? Help introduce the Motley Muse capsule collection to new customers, create original content featuring the products, and earn a reward for each qualifying referral.
What you get
- $20 through PayPal for each qualifying referral, sent at the beginning of the following month after the customer’s return period ends.
- One free Motley Muse garment for the following month when you generate at least three qualifying sales during the previous month. Use it to create social media content and advertise the product.
- Starter content, including product photos and videos to help you promote the collection.
Who can apply
I’m looking for people who are 18 or older, have an active social media presence, and have a real plan for creating original content and promoting the collection. Parent or guardian approval does not allow anyone under 18 to participate.
How it works
- Email your application and the social media links you will use to advertise Motley Muse products.
- If approved, receive a personal referral code plus starter photos and videos.
- Share the collection with your audience using your own content and the materials I provide.
- Earn $20 for each qualifying referral. Reach three qualifying sales in a month to receive a free garment the following month.
Free garment details
- Choose one available garment from the Motley Muse collection.
- If your preferred garment is unavailable, choose another available garment.
- Motley Muse covers shipping to United States addresses.
- The clothing cannot be exchanged for cash or store credit.
Your responsibilities
- Use your personal referral code when promoting the collection.
- Create and share original photos, videos, styling ideas, reviews, or other content featuring the collection and any garment you receive.
- Include #motleymuse in every post about the collection.
- Keep content wholesome and respectful, and only use content you created or have permission to use.
- Do not make promises or statements on Motley Muse’s behalf.
When a referral qualifies
A referral qualifies when a customer completes and fully pays for an order using your code and has a United States shipping address. The reward is a flat $20 per qualifying order, regardless of the items purchased, order value, shipping, taxes, or discounts. Orders without your code cannot be attributed to you.
- Cancelled, refunded, returned, and unpaid orders do not qualify.
- Your own purchases and household purchases do not qualify.
- Each customer qualifies once.
Updates, taxes, and program terms
Once a week, I’ll email you whether your code brought in qualifying orders and whether a reward is pending or available. I won’t include private customer information.
Cash and free clothing rewards may count as taxable income. If needed, I may request tax information and report rewards to tax authorities. You are responsible for any taxes you owe, so please keep your own records and consult a tax professional with questions.
- Participation is voluntary and does not create an employment, partnership, or agency relationship.
- Motley Muse may decline an application or end participation if content does not follow these guidelines.

- Your full name
- The email address connected to your PayPal account for payments
- A short introduction
- Links to the social media accounts where you plan to advertise the collection
- How you would promote the collection and create original content
- A preferred referral code that fits your personality. I’ll confirm if it is available.
Please do not send your PayPal password or banking information. I only need your PayPal email address. I’ll review your application and respond within seven days.
